An employee was using a forklift to unload trailers. His hand was under the protected forklift cage as he leaned onto the controls that lowered the boom. His left hand was then caught between the boom and the mast, causing a laceration and three broken bones in his hand. He was hospitalized.

An employee, with the assistance of other employees, was unloading a trailer of freight. A 1,300 pound pallet of materials fell on the employee causing a fractured left femur, cracked ribs and a possible right finger amputation.
